Tulips anyone?

We took a drive today, and this is what we saw:

Currently reading: Readers Digest from 1984. Yes 1984! I found them in the secondhand store here in town, along with a number of other english books. One of them was so annoyingly cloying (it included cutely bumbling angels, for pete's sake!) that it almost made me gag. Hopefully the other books will turn out beter.

I remember going to a tulip festival just outside of Amsterdam--it was gorgeous! What amazing pictures!

Out for a drive? Did you drive or did Herman?! :)

Neither of us drove, my friend did! Nice and easy!

I love this! No matter how long I live in the Netherlands, I will never become jaded by the site of these things. I still get a kick out of seeing windmills :) We were stuck in one of many traffic jams on Tuesday on the A-1 and in each stop, I was able to snap a very nice picture of the scenery around me. One traffic jam gave me several nice shots of a windmill, and another traffic jam gave me a few nice shots of a blue grazing cow statue ;) I'll put those up soon on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really enjoy your blog, and I hope you don't mind if I link your blog on my expat blogs list :)

Groetjes!
Isabella

Hey Isabella,
The more linking, the better! I have yours in my Google Reader so I can keep updated as well. And I will check out the other blogs that you've linked too. Always fun to see what people are up to!
